Our Drawing and Painting class for Secondary Schools develops the visual literacy and the fundamentals of drawing and painting to progress from intermediate to advance. This class examines the elements of Art and the principles of Design. It explores different medium in drawing and painting as well as different subject such as landscape, still life, portrait and figure drawing. Once students develop their knowledge in drawing for their age and skill level, they move on to an introductory study of painting. Each student gains a strong working knowledge of watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint to advance their development towards creating their voice. Advanced student can explore playing with multimedium to develop their point of view. All projects are designed further to develop each young artist’s unique ideas and practices.
