Our Pastel Art offers the opportunity to explore the foundations and techniques for drawing and "painting" with oil and soft pastels that will give you a new appreciation of the medium. The course is progressive, with each lesson building on the last, easing the students gently into more complex concepts. Students will learn the basic materials, surfaces, and techniques for  creating pastel drawings and paintings. In addition, students will explore various approaches to developing artwork while exploring color theory, still life, landscape, and portraiture.
