Oil pastels are made from a combination of wax and non-drying oil, giving them a creamier texture compared to chalk pastels. They provide greater freedom of expression than pencils and more control than paint. In this workshop, students will create a vibrant landscape inspired by Fauvist color schemes. They will also learn various techniques commonly used with oil pastels, such as color mixing and layering.
